Hi All, To coincide with the imminent release of our plastic Republican Legionaries, here is a peak at the 'green' for our metal command and personality packs. He will be available (along with the rest of the packs) at Salute. More picks to come over the coming few days. Hope you like him! link Greg |

Thanks Guys! Sorry I couldn't actually post the pic up here (rather than a link). Seems that TMP doesn't like Facebook URL links to pics (unless that's user error – please advise!) Will have the rest of the command pack (Consul and Lictors) up soon, and then some personality figures to mix up the plastics. Cheers Greg |

I like the sad sack look of the lictors |

Hi Jeff, Yeah, we figured that if you'd spent most of your time walking the streets of Rome, to then find yourself standing in the sleat and snow on the banks of the Trebbia defending a consul who'd just been owned, you'd be pretty hacked off too! (especially in those iddy biddy tunics) :-) |

Greg Marvelous looking figures – while not a 'Roman' myself I was tempted by the command set for my imitation Pontic legionaries. I do like quality figures and was thinking of forthcoming releases for Carthaginians. Any news on these? BTW, great idea about the conversion sprue for the velites. Garry |

Hi Garry, Thanks for the kind words – we certainly plan on releasing Carthaginians, but no timeframe on these as yet.In the meantime, here's a pic of another of our command figures, this time a centurion. Greg

Nice figures! Should the centurion's gladius be on his left side or his right side
? |

Hi Skeptic, Right for Legionaries, left for officers I always thought. Is that not correct? Cheers Greg |

Right for legionaries, left for officers is correct – but I remember reading somewhere that centurions may not have worn their swords on the left until the 1st century bc(?) |
