Nicely painted. They're called "Armored Personal Exo-system" from the Grindhouse Game "Incursion." They're more like battlesuits than walkers such as those you see in the Dust universe.

I just paint 'em ,not have to explain 'em, but a lot of fun to paint, sort of tanks without tracks was how I went about it.

Are those some wierd kinda toaster on top of them? Great paint job by the way.

"Are those some wierd kinda toaster on top of them?"

Umm… Cardinal, I think you've glued the backpacks on upside-down…

Yep flick those back packs around the right way! Look great though.

Cardinal Hawkwood06 Mar 2014 9:23 p.m. PST

that the problem, can't get them off..

Grumpygamer06 Mar 2014 10:11 p.m. PST

Toss and start over, some things just don't look right. Great paint job though.

StarfuryXL506 Mar 2014 10:40 p.m. PST

Toss those zombies some BREs (Brains Ready to Eat).

Fisherking08 Mar 2014 6:46 p.m. PST

I think the backpacks are positioned correctly. You would want the hot exhaust pipes up out of the way where they would be less likely to come into inadvertent contact with something. Exhaust would also more quickly vent away from the soldier.

Wait I'm an idiot that was the second post that had them correct. Forget my rambling two cents.

Nicest APE paintups I've seen

Nice paint job, but it's a shame about the packs, did you use superglue? if you did try de-bonder, works on long cured glue may have to use a bit of force to lever them off. Though if you have my luck all but 1 will pop easily… give it a go, I take no responsibilty for what happens, good luck.

ski206015 Mar 2014 9:06 a.m. PST

If superglue.. freeze the models. That will make the superglue brittle to the point that you can break the pieces off much easier.
Assuming you really want to pop them off at this point.

Decent looking models otherwise :D

I used Araldite 24 hour to cure, nothing comes apart

chromedog08 Apr 2014 5:25 a.m. PST

74*c water and let them "cook" for a bit.

Not hot enough to melt metal figures – but enough to start epoxy breaking down.

About the only thing that does weaken epoxy.
