Most of what I do are soldiers. Hence they are usually wearing hats or helmets and hair color is pretty generic, various shades if brown usually for beards and the like but now I have a more difficult task. I have to paint blond hair on a female 28mm figure. This figure has fine detail and I don't want to mess it up with a lousy (ie just painting it yellow) color job. So I turn to this august body and ask; what paint or mix to produce a realistic light blond hat color?

Thanks much,
John

GW's snakebite leather is a good base colour. Highlight it up from there with that mixed with a darker yellow colour and white.

Reaper blonde hair triad is very nice.

You could go with white, then washes of yellows and/or light browns.

I used Vallejo ochre brown, desert yellow, sand yellow and beige for the blonde hair on this poor souls head.
