I wrote a short story set in the Slaughterball world. Erik of What the Frog Games was cool enough to post it as an update. Give it a read and tell me what you think.
Does fiction enhance a board game? Does it help a Kickstarter project to have fiction attached to it?

Good stuff, Warwick.
Looks like Erik has pulled the KS for now and will relaunch in a few months. He notes being in KS at the same time as another 2 sports games (Guild Ball and DreadBall Xtreme) were factors.

Thanks, Privateer. I have a second on in the works about a search for a missing move. I've never written sport fiction and I'm interested in how many good stories can be told.
It was a good move on his part. Means he has control instead of running it into the ground on the off chance it succeeds. That was some bad timing. I've seen it before. One project fails, then relaunches to huge numbers.

Here's hoping :)
