I'm in Miami for a few days and was hoping that someone with a little local knowledge could direct me to a hobby/wargame store I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks |

There are a couple of shops north on University drive but don't they have Hobby Lobby? I think one was on Sunrise and university- RC Hobby 6800 at North University Dr. In Orlando, they have Sci-fi City on Colonial. ACW Bill would know he still lives there. Search him out and ask. |

If it is the one I'm thinking of, the RC Hobby is in the Ft Lauderdale area, about 20-30 miles north of Miami. I am not familiar with Miami. |

Cool Stuff is in Hollywood, FL
just off the Fl. Turnpike. I THINK there is a Wargaming store on Bird Road
Sunshine Comics or some such. |

Yes there is one on bird road, think its sunshine adventure games. Strange business plan. Prices are as marked (usually full rrp) then the guy who runs it has always given me 20% off at the register. Not that I ever argued mind you! He also has lots of boardgames, but tends not to carry supplements for them. Lots of FFG and DOW games. He also has a gaming room in the back with a few tables. Usual mix of FOW and GW games. |

Cool Stuff has a HUGE front gaming room and little on the shelves, but they sell by computer(s), which are located in the back. Discounts are said to be quite decent. |
