I attended the Leipzig Game event in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, UK on October 18 to 20, 2013. The game in planning for a year had 37 players, 4 umpires played on 8 tables with 46,000 6mm figures.
The link is to a page on the weekend. There are pictures and a narrative of my part in the game.

Great site and report, thanks Terry!

I've added it to my list of Leipzig links here:

What rule system was used?
I see the infantry were in blocks much like V&B or fast play Grand Armee.
Were they brigades, regiments or individual battalions?
Very impressive!

"Two Hundred Years" by R.P. Butler. The rules were modified for the game to speed play.
Scale 1mm = 1m
Figure ratio was 20 to 1.
Infantry – Battalion each stand represents 400 to 1000 men. 20 to 50 figures.
Cavalry – regiment each stand = 200 – 720 men. 10 to 36 figures
Artillery – Battery 4 to 14 guns. Each stand = 2 guns.

Players had rosters that to keep track of losses and morale status. Very easy to follow.

This is the first time I have seen a Leipzig replay and thought – Wauw this is the real thing. Wonderfull to see someone trying this as a battallion level game. Was there any genral discrepancies between your game and historical outcome – it is a bit hard to see from the pics.

T Callahan,
Thank you!

I have not been able to find anything on the searches ( TMP -other) other than some old issues available in the UK.
Would you know where I could find out anything on these rules- that is… flavor on how they play ( or closeness to other more known rules sets)and what makes them attractive to this group. I imagine adjustments could be made to scale if played with a larger figure and or battalion foot print.

Terry, thanks for posting. I look forward to seeing you soon. Maybe we can get a Leipzig game here in the states together.
Cheers,
