George Martin is incommunicado (let's hope he's writing) and so Jim at Dark Sword can't get approval for more named figures, as a result I'm making generics as stretch goals for his kickstarter. As said in another post I think they are coming out rather nicely despite (or perhaps because of) having to be thrown together with no preparation.

Tom,

I like this one a lot better. You captured the movement really well. It is really fluid. You may have not planned this out, but you have so much experience to draw from that your brain sort of knows what to do.

Mr. Meier, you are evil. Quit using your shrink ray on poor unsuspecting girls

No – not up to standard. Please send this sculpt to me immediately and I'll deal with it appropriately. grin

Incredible job. I love the way you give personality in the faces of your miniatures, and movement in the clothes.

I just have a wish…please give us a few more figs in your FIW 1/48 line, when you finish this KS. If I remember well, these figs are a present for your son, and a rules are in development when you put in your webstore the codes. Think that i see more greens to be released in photographs?? Not sure…

There are three more done, a French infantry and two Indians. I just haven't had time or resources to make molds on them. It's a monetary loss you see, making the molds and putting them in production. Sculpting is just a few cents worth of epoxy and my time but the costs in time and money to cast master sets and make production molds is substantial.

My son has yet to show an interest in history really, he's still in a fantastical, imaginative phase but I live in hope.

I want my 'quick ones' look like this…

Slagneb05 Mar 2014 10:42 a.m. PST

Wow! Excellent figure! Where can I get one!?

Tom, thanks for your response. Itīs a shame that these awesome figures are not selling as well as they deserve. For my side, im going to make an order the next month for the full line (this month founds go for the khurasan soviets vehicles). Im waiting for 2 years until the FIW line was "complete" (shipping cost to Spain is expensive) but now is clear to me that i must "help". Maybe more people are in my situation, and some new references can make the line playable for small skirmish wargames (Musket and tomahawks), and consequently more atractive?

Your son is on her time I guess, im waiting for my first daugther, hopefully she have the same imaginative fantastical historic phase that dominates is fatherīs live till now.

Sorry for my awful english (i promise you that my spanish and portuguese are far better).
