"Twilight is a small scale skirmish game set in the unique fantasy world of Anyaral. I've been working on the world and the game for well over a decade and since 2009 I have written and published the first two books in the series, released a wide range of finely sculpted miniatures and built a community of enthusiastic gamers, world builders and painters

Looks very cute. I'm not totally excited about skirmish games that use a proprietary line of figures
I prefer toolbox games that let me stat up my own figures. But there's no denying this fellow's creativity. |

Really great, original world and ideas – which is surely what fantasy should be about! Love the miniatures, too. I agree with Patrick, and prefer open games that allow you to use whatever figures you want, but this is still a great project and I wish it luck. |

Re: customizable fantasy games, I kinda get where people are coming from when it comes to a generic fantasy skirmish setting, but with a setting as unique as Twilight I feel like you would be missing out, or the setting would feel "watered down," if you opened it up to elves, dwarfs, orcs, and whatever else someone felt like throwing into the mix. I also get the impression, with many such quirky and off-the-beaten-path games, that the rules are kind of a secondary consideration, mainly meant to support the miniatures line and recreate the universe, rather than the heart of the game. Of course, one could always just skip the rules, get the minis, and use them in their own games of SBH, G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T., IHMN, etc. |
