I have the Osprey Agincourt and Crecy books, the very old ones.
I have the WRG Medieval Armies Book 1.

I will be painting about 20 Kniggets for a friend for the Historicon Warrior tournament, whose theme is HYW-ish.
his approach is "the red unit", the "blue unit", etc.
However, pride dictates that I do "authentic" knights. (Longbowmen are easy! grin)

So, is there a nice, inexpensive guide to English heraldry on the kniggets in the HYW?
I realize there is a noticeable difference between the Crecy and Agincourt periods.

An ideal guide would be a $20 USD book with at least 20 knights! grin

You could always take a look at the Freezywater HYW flags PDF link
LBM have some transfers for the French link
CitadelSix have some colourful decals for the HYW

Freezywater was the first thing that came to mind. They have books on the Siege of Orlean and plenty of reference to flags and heraldry.

Have a look at link – free downloads of 100 YW flags for Crecy and Poitiers. Should give you quite a few arms to choose from.
