Feeling rather pleased with myself as I have managed to finish off three FWC battlegroups in two weeks.

Although when I say 'finish off' I think I might go back to the 'sulphur-based humanoids' and tidy up the bases, as well as add more gloss coats to the 'glass'.

Here they are:

More details on my blog of course..

I believe the dropship is a highly modified OOP Reaper CAV dropship.

That Reaper Cav flyer is very nice…and congrats on your output!

Are the EM4 walkers the plastic kit ones with variable weapon fits?

Nice stuff! A question about the basing, though – are those forces (one from/on a red planet, one from/on a yellow planet, and one from/on a snowy planet) intended to fight each other? I ask because I've never been able to come up with a good solution for SF basing, since in SF the terrain could be anything. I've considered clear bases, but those (at least the ones I've tried or seen) don't look quite right either.

Hi Guys, yes the dropship is a heavily modified CAV model. I actually had it lurking following a previous build ( TMP link ) so shouldn't really include it in the two weeks count.

Yes, those are the EM4 plastic walkers, I have another half a dozen or so waiting for a use.

Finally, with the basing, I really thought hard about this, as you say Doug, basing could be anything.

I could have gone for a standard basing across all my forces, but eventually I decided the basing should complement the figures and colours, and be suitably 'alien' – all my forces are different. Generally they don't fight each other, so the contrast isn't my problem!
