Finished a unit of 4 Universal Carriers and one Wasp carrier recently. All the models are Tamiya (1:48th scale) with Victory Force crews: link Enjoy, Burkhard P.S.: here are the usual pre-view pictures (as usual more clickable pictures on the blog):

Nicely nice done, I do like the Tamiya kits, they do build up nice and they paint up well. Some of the seated crew members can be used but the standing figures are just to big to get away with using. |

How did you get the VF crews to fit in? I tried but the driver compartment is way too narrow for the VF figures. It broke off the steering wheel on mine and I gave up. |

Thank you all guys! @ 28mm Fanatik: I had no big problems. I put a drop of superglue onto the drivers seat and placed the legs parallel to the side of the driver compartment and let it slide down. It would stop in a somewhat 45° position since the soles would connect with some kind ridge sculpted into the floor. So I lifted the feet up a little with pliers with an angels nose and the legs would fall into position and into the glue. I waited a minute and placed another drip of glue on the part of the legs where they would connect to the torso and one one the backrest. Then I just slipped the Torso in, which is a tight fit , but never came near damaging the steering wheel. But one needs to fit the driver in first. If you do the gunner first, he will block the space you need for the pliers. |

Thanks. My mistake was gluing the torso on the legs before trying to force the whole body in. |
