Anyone use Impetus for big Samurai battles?
What did you think?
Still searching for rules to use with
my Wargames Factory Samurai armies.
I want big battle rules that can handle 4-6 players.

I do, 15mm.

Just a few pictures from one of our games, no AAR unfortunately.

I gave Impetvs a try using 15mm Samurai armies. My test used a grid (hex) for measuring movement and firing. While it didn't have the same flavor as Command & Colors Samurai Battles, Impetvs did produce a good game. My plans are to continue the trials.

By the way, are the rules (and cards) for C&C Samurai available separately, without the plastic figures?

If it is 28 mm there is only 1 rule for the moment: Taiko. Otherwise you are only fooling yourself. For 15 mm : Killer Katana's, otherwise see above.

I tried Taiko a 1/2 dozen times and to me it looked like it should work great but it just didn't. I plan on trying Impetus and War & Conquest this year to see how they work out.
