If you're like me and about to be trapped in a big snowstorm, and are looking for something to read as a result, I've managed to find six dinosaur-themed stories from the pulp magazine era on the internet. I have links to all the stories on my blog: link From a gaming perspective, two of the stories are set during World War II, but they never really live up to their promise of pitting dinosaurs against WWII weaponry. However, the best of the bunch, One Prehistoric Night, features a battle between a horde of dinosaurs and Martians invading prehistoric Earth. It would be a fun one to game if you had the right figures. PS. Also, if you are looking for something a little more modern, the current issue of Analog Science Fiction has a wonderful prehistoric thriller tale titled "Cyptids." |

Check out the Xenozoic Tales comic:
It's a modern comic (which started in the 1980s), but artist Mark Schultz brings a distinctly classic style to it. link Ron |

OK, I guess you've heard of it
I had totally forgotten about the RPG. It's interesting to learn that a Savage Worlds version is in the works. Ron |
