Here one for you chaps and its a totally British, one could say English, unit for you. Sloppy Jalopy will be releasing a cricket team in either two packs of six, named Gentlemen and Players or in a combined pack of twelve, the whole team at a reduced price. But they need to finalise the prices will let us know soon. The next bit of news is that Sloppy Jalopy have stock ready to go but unfortunately it will be about three weeks or so before they are ready for sale. But I have been assured that we will, thats me, be told as soon as they are on sell and hopefully the price of the packs before them. So I will leave you with these rather lovely pictures. The Gentlemen
The Players

Well, that's one way for England to win the next Ashes Series. Very nice figures. I could use them. Really like the guy with the bag and the wicket-keeper. |

Reminds me of an episode from Dad's Army! Nice looking stuff. My problem is, I've been looking for figures actually playlng the game! Not gents daft enough not to change into battle dress before going at "the other team!" |

Someone takes the game seriously. |

They're very pretty. Their kit looks quite intimidating and I'm sure there will be trouble ahead for their opponents! |

Sloppy Jalopy will be releasing a cricket team in either two packs of six, Eh? Only 11 players in a cricket team, don't you know? Or maybe perhaps one is a "substitute"? |

Is one not the Umpire? Ah, yes, you're probably right. Not strictly a "player" though. |

Great looking figures but would players being going into battle with shin guards? Too bad they could not have made them as an add on. |

Just in time for the 20-20 Cricket World Cup. I forgot to mention that they are sculpted by Bill Thornhill and yes one is an umpire. |

Great looking figures but would players being going into battle with shin guards? In the cricketing world, they're called "pads" not "shin guards" and of course you'd wear them going into battle – you don't want to get shot in the leg do you? |

Surely they're on their way there. |

Mine just arrived and they are fantastic! Incredibly clean casting and even better, in my opinion, than the painted examples make them look. |
