Yes, when you need to travel around on a new colony world and you don't have the time to make a permanent road the traditional way, make a temporary road instead! Besides permanent roads are so expensive and so last century
They are available to pre-order now and can be bought as resin or rubber versions.
The images are of the rubber ones which do unfortunately have some air bubbles in them, the resin ones are much neater. But then, just goes to show that even in the future we are to be plagued by pot-holes! So, why take the highway when you can take the Hexway©

Ooooooh, Mama! – looks like the release of more 'game-changer' terrain pieces from the Barracks – imagine the applications – and not just for Sci-Fi or for 6mm
..wow – just wow! Looks like the Oki Corporation will be receiving more of my hard earned cash sometime soon! |

A classic driving song, when driving down AB's roads :) YouTube link Thank you America :) The images are of the rubber ones which do unfortunately have some air bubbles in them, the resin ones are much neater. But then, just goes to show that even in the future we are to be plagued by pot-holes! Should see the roads, where I live, crikey! Love the reference to pot holes |

Those roadways remind me of Soviet-era military runways. I can just see my MiG 27s thundering down that strip. |

Seeing as sales of these are scaring me, what about a big section of hex with a kerb like the roads? Maybe say 100mm x 150mm with the kerb around the edges? Why would you have such a large piece of road? Maybe it is not road but an area of settlement? You can cut the kerbs off some edges and make super big hexed areas and place your buildings on them. It would make a very clear BUA and you could have the roads linking up to the civic spaces as I have just decided to call them. Crude picture, but like this:

Anyway
. Somebody asked on my own forum if they are compatible with each other; the rubber and the resin. Yes, yes they are:

Looking very tempting, though postage is a killer for those of us so close to the Ross Ice Shelf :) |

Yeah you don't have it cheap down there. Still these are quite light

UPDATE The rubber roads are proving very difficult to make. Only about 1 in 5 are curing properly.
I thought I had the problem solved but alas it seems not. As such, I have removed rubber options for the roads from the website. For those that have placed rubber roads on order, you will get them. All orders will be going out next week as I have managed to get enough together for the pre-orders on the rubber. Bit of a shame but still.
However coming up (in resin) Will be some big BUA in Hexway. Here is the master model for the BUA. As you can see it is just big enough to fit in the OKI compound with a 1mm gap around the edge.
After all the OKI Corporation don't want you getting your shoes muddy.
:D

The mould for the HexWay BUA. At 144mm x 96mm, it is just big enough to fit inside an OKI compound with a small gap around the edge. The BUA, unlike the roads has no sloped kerb. This is intentional and is to allow you to butt up several BUA sections next to each other. |
