Here is a short video showcasing a modular board set I built for Battle Tech but could be used with any 6mm-15mm system that uses hexes. My 28mm strange on this board ;)

While not as fancy as this board you can use the Heroscape plastic hex terrain to the same effect.

I built them several years ago and rehabbed them last week….

They have held up well for the last 3 years. Basically I just cleaned the dirt off them and repainted the edges and sides.
