A toy gyrocopter was marketed with the movie Atlantis The Lost Empire. It requires little or no modification and works great with 28mm figures. It can probably be found on ebay. I found a broken one at the swap meet and after some easy repairs it painted up great. I added a Eureka 28mm hansom cab driver as the pilot. You can see the one I did in pics 112 and 113 of my Victorian Gallery at link

Whatever happened to the Great Rail Wars molds? They had an ornithopter and an autogyro in their range. Valiant Enterprises Limited veltd.net was that last to have them, but I don't see them offered on his website.

Tobsen77's, out of Germany, dragonfly design might do you. Heck of a nice guy; I wanted a few extra pieces to extend the model. 'No problem.'

Still have most (missing the rear gunner, I think) of that Dead Lands ornithopter in the basement, but it's got solid pieces, and mickle heavy.

Guthroth,
West Wind Productions do versions of both a Ornithopter and Gyrocopter for Requiem Empire of the Dead
In fact the second picture in this post (the one stating Pilot Included) is an image of the EOTD Gyrocopter.
Contact them directly, or come and see us (Figures In Comfort) at any show you are at as we are the shoe stockist for them.

I don't know, Sir Randall. You know I'm down with serious crazy flyers, but that…

Just remembered some extremely primative Crucible Dwarf Ornithopters (wings and engine on a plank) available from Ral Partha Europe. Easy-peasy for you, Guthrock.

I do wish someone would start producing the Great Rail Wars line again. I could use some of those figures, and they just aren't available on eBay or anything.

I remember when no one wanted them, because they were soooo BIG. Scale creep has put them in demand. ;->=
