Over the past few weeks, I have been teaching a class in "Simulation Gaming" to some high school seniors with an interest in history. Our first scenario was a 10mm Black Powder ACW game. TMP link They had a great time, and they were eager to try out my shinier 28mm Napoleonics.


If we manage to avoid snow on Monday, we will begin our simulation then. Otherwise it will be a week before our next scheduled meeting! You can read about the setup here:

Great looking table! It will be interesting to see how it works out, and how the students react to their first Napoleonic exposure!

Their ACE game turned into a shootout. They have already remarked how shorter-range firearms and more cavalry will change the battlefield dynamic.
