Hi, After seeing some very cool SW posts, I thought I would share a pic or two from our last game. We use the Flying Lead rules from Ganesha Games along with the plastic minis from the discontinued Wizards of the Coast SW game. If you like Song of Blades and Heroes, Flying Lead should fit small skirmish sci-fi for ya ;) Here is a pic
A few more pics here on my blog link Let me know what you think and hope you enjoy. Sealion |

Nice pics! Although I own Flying Lead, I use Mutants and Death Ray Guns for my Star Wars games. Simply because my son likes to take a Jedi or two, and I found it easier to use them with those rules. |

You know I was thinking of trying MaDRG. I think I will pick it up, too. The rules are so inexpensive I might as well get them. Thanks for the info!! :) Sealion |

I've also used MaDRG for Star Wars which worked really well
hadn't thought of Flying Lead though. Could work well. Like the terrain! The other rule set I've tried recently for SW is Tomorrow's War which were also very good. All of these rule sets benefit from allowing/encouraging tinkering. |

I did most of the play test games for FL with either WWII or Star Wars stuff. :) Rich |

Lol! That is fantastic. We love the rules/games :) They work very well for fast skirmish games. They also allow for variations to be added easily if needed. Good stuff! |

You may want to check out Blasters & Bulkheads. Its closer to SW than most. They even have Jedi type powers. They just call it The Essence. They just came out with a second edition recently too. 8) |

Pleased this thread was ressurected! I missed it the first time round. The game looks excellent. My personal problem is that my terrain all looks like they decided to film Star Wars in a temperate region looking very similar to Europe… So you've given me some good ideas about how to 'sci-fi' things up a little! |
