More of the same, I was hoping for some landwehr cavalry, or Russian cavalry, or just about anything really. Instead we get more British infantry, something perry and victrix already have covered, sigh. Maybe next year. /Lamentation of the Napoleonic plastics fan. |

Next year in Jerusalem. The mantra is, "British and French sell

Thanks for the tip. I wonder if they'll have an uncovered shako option? I do hate the mixture of plastic and metal figures they do – they make the metal figures in bits as well and me and superglue don't get on
Though of course I'll buy at least a box worth! Great box art. |

I'll be in for a box, likely two. I don't like their metals but I found that Front Rank were a good mix with their French Infantry for skirmishers. Hopefully that's the case again for these. They might in fact be better than Victrix when all's said and done. |

Certainly easier to assemble, the plastics at least! 2 Parts if their Russians and French are anything to go by – body and knapsack w/bottle assembly. |

Russians are 3 parts. backpack/cartridge box/sword, head, and body. the only problem with warlord is they are more expensive per figure then perry and victrix, but are not as nicely sculpted. especially the metal, which in the case of the Russians, make old glory look stunningly well sculpted. I agree that with hte british and french already well represented in plastics I'd like to see something else. a box of french artillery would be nice. |

Odd one to do i would have thought there are already 2 companies doing them in plastic
..would like to see some more British cavalry in plastic and perhaps some Prussians ones too. |

Plastic lancers, any nation. The wait continues. |

Is about marketing using the GW option ( get it all here and make sure is our TM brand- yeah I know not factually true but feels liker it), I buy bits and pieces from these guys not much else, I find their metals not that great but the plastics are quite good as are the bits and pieces. |

I'll be getting a box of Peninsular Infantry just to paint up as the 57th, my Grandfathers old Regiment. At 36 figures for £20.00 GBP they will be just the job for a static display! Before you ask, I'm not quite that old, it was the Middlesex Regiment when he was in it and it was 100, not 200, years ago! |

Well if they are doing the heads separately watch out for a metal version of the uncovered shako with cords

I like the look of these. I don't need them but will most likely get a box. |
Gunfreak | 02 Mar 2014 8:45 a.m. PST |
Well the problem is that both boxes of plastic british that are out are NOT marching poses, lots of us prefer marching only(except for skirmsihers) The perry plastics are a pain to transport with thin muskets sticking out. And the victrix take 40 years to asable and only a few of them can be used for marchnig. |
Bandolier | 02 Mar 2014 4:23 p.m. PST |
100% with you on that, Gunfreak. |
Edwulf | 02 Mar 2014 4:41 p.m. PST |
Yeah. I'd second that. You get enough figures in one Victrix box for an odd looking battalion. But if you want any semblance of order you need at least three boxes. And they are very fiddly to put together. Perry is not so bad. I can make one unit from one box but are still a little fiddly. Never had a bayonet snap though. Unlike Victrix. I'd have preferred them to be more like the French box. With less great coats. |

They look like they'll be easier to convert to late Portugeuse. The lace is more accessible to scrape off. |
