Has anyone read this series are they any good? |

If you like pulp-like stories. They start off well and go downhill after about the third one, getting more and more ridiculous. They should be fairly dated by now though. If you're trapped and have nothing else to read, you could do worse. |

Tons of technology inaccuracies, Like jd said said books 1-3 are red storm rising-esque. But you seriously are better off reading Red Storm Rising, Red Phoenix and the like. |

Ok thanks guys. I have all those books funny I have re-read them a bunch of times. I'm into kindle now so I was looking for something new. If any of you get a chance try Harvey Black they have been very good. The third book will be out soon. harveyblackauthor.org |

Yes indeed a big thumbs up from Sparks for the Harvey Black books. Other classics for WW3 are of course Ralph Peter's Red Army, which to my mind is the best Soviet view. Bob Forest Webbs 'The Chieftains' is now fortunately back in print too – the classic British tanky's view of the war
Need I mention Harold Coyle's Team Yankee? Again very good from the US perspective. |

"The Chieftains" is probably the best I have read about a low level view point. Just be prepared for the ending. I got it for my kindle. |
