Needed a piece of DBA artillery for Cold Wars.

So a little bass wood, string, cloth, some modified Scots and a few rocks later…..

Nice looking piece! Always love seeing scratch built stuff folks come up with.

Now if you only made it fully operational, you could win games by physics! evil grin

Beautiful work Dervel! So what are your Scots now? Did they convert to Sung Chinese?

Nice! thumbs up

Thanks guys…

I built this for a Khazar Army actually…

But it could stretch to Chinese I guess :)

These guys were holding halberds and had wide brimmed steel helms plus completely covered in chainmail… renaissance era Scots.

By the way in my 28mm Cog wars game I did have fully functional catapults :P

Now that would be fun! I am sure it would devolve into chaos but who doesn't like a little chaotic fun? wink

well we had the option for players to roll a dice to hit or fire a small catapult with marshmallow ammo…

Then they wanted to light the marshmallows to represent the incendiary ammo.
