How do foundry 20mm match up against other ranges? Which range are they most compatible with? |

really? will they go with Elhime? |

Yes, they match up with AB, Elheim, CP, FAA, PSC, and even SHQ (although those are my least favorites and the smallest of the lot to boot). I have all of those and gladly mix them together. |

There is not a serious 20mm problem (unlike with 28mm). Like Nazrat, I use all the above together, although I tend to use SHQ mainly for vehicles. They are small enough to fit properly and have lots of variety. The exceptions on the huge side are recent Italeri plastics and Valiant. Neither of these, in my book, are compatible with the rest. I know some say 'people come in different sizes, ra ra
' but entire units of giants have not been seen since the days of Gulliver's Travels and Frederick the Great! An Italeri figure amongst SHQ look like a (beautifully sculpted)invader from space. If EXACT sizing matters to you, I reckon SHQ, Kellys and Battlefield/Blitz form a 'small' cluster. Foundry is the 'bridge' size compatible with all. The nominally 1/72 ones form another cluster – AB, Elheim, CP, TDQ, PSC, Esci Plastics, etc. When it was possible to get FAA in Britain I classed them with the smaller cluster. |

Oh yes – Shellhole stuff looks big until you deal with the bases. |

Thanks for the advice. I like the look of the desert rats from founfry but also like the wartime miniatures I have seen . |
