These are some of the iconic images that come to my mind when I think of WWI gunners in action:
I've been able to find miniatures of gunners in tunic, even some in shirt sleeves, but never a miniature without a shirt, as in the paintings above. Does anyone make gunners stripped for action? Thanks in advance Will |

Perry Miniatures have some anti-tank gunners in their WW2 N Africa range, one of which is shirt-less: link (Might pass muster in a pinch) |

Those Perry gunners look the biz – a good match for the gunner in shorts in the top painting. Now to decide if it's worth getting a WWII 2-pdr that I don't need, just to get the crew

We have a pack of 2 crew in shirt sleeves herehttp://scarabminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_19&products_id=388 , that could be used for a number of different gun crews although it was made for our French 75mm. Will add the shirtless to the list of variants I was putting together as its a decent idea. kind regards Rob scarabminiatures.com warandconquest.co.uk |
