Thanks for the link. Sadly, FM 17-51 is missing, which I was just looking for last night. If anyone runs across a good link to that, I'd appreciate it if you'd post it here. |

Thanks, For game designers this series is the basic data you meed to understand before you make a start on rules. Not read them all but quite a few and a lot of what is in our rules is this stuff simplified and optimised to keep it simple. |

Nope, FM 17-51 is a publication with TO&E info, for the US Army, back in the 1950s, supposedly. Thanks for trying though. |

Nope, FM 17-51 is a publication with TO&E info, for the US Army, back in the 1950s, supposedly. Are you certain it's a Field Manual number and not a TO&E number? There's a TO&E 17-51 from 1948 for the Armored Cavalry Regiment (light) that while I can't find it on-line, there is some rough information from it on page 132 (of the document, not the pdf page) of the following link: linkYou may also find this of interest if Armored Cav is your thing: link |

Here is one that I have, but cannot find on line. The one I have is from 94. Its standard Handbook size, 4" x 6" and 1 in thick double sided print. NORTH KOREA HANDBOOK PC-2600-6421-94 It is one great book covering everything about NORTH KOREA and its Military. If someone can find the link to it or an updated version please post it. Someone was asking me recently about info on the NORTH KOREA Army and I told them about this Handbook but could not find it on the net. |

Could be a TO&E number. I've never seen it, so don't really know. I also figured, given the way they number stuff, that 51 stood for 1951, assuming that to be the planned year of implementation, or approval for the change. |

Yea, that's the number for it. And "94" dose stand for published in 1994. If you do a search using that number you get. KPA Journal Vol. 1 No. 7 and KPA Journal Vol. 1 No. 8 Interesting reading there. They list the handbook in the references. |
