I've written up a comparison
and did a video comparing Muskets & Tomahawks and Brother Against Brother (for 18th century skirmish gaming): link Regards, Jay |

Printing out your comparison report now, and Jay, congrats on your 100th blog posting – and I'll be checking out the video pronto. Thanks! Dave Back, and just enjoyed watching the comparison video now (good presentation). Jay, I sure would like to see your M&T videos before this weekend (before my first hosting of an M&T scenario this Saturday), but of course you'll have them ready when you're ready. I did order a copy of BAB a few days ago, and think its differences – for the ACW at least (like the formation changing mechanics), might appeal to my gaming buds too. I think playing the two sets for the two historical periods might be fun, or at least to try out at first for us. |

Thanks Dave! :-) They M&T episode will be up before the weekend --- I was hoping to finish filming last night, but my opponent couldn't make it over
so we'll finish up on Wednesday night (our regular game night). With editing and such I should be able to post on Thursday :-) BAB for ACW skirmish is good
M&T "out of the box" would not work for ACW
I have a bunch of Perry ACW that isn't painted yet, but when I do I'll likely start with BAB and lace in some M&T for the more "fuzzy" parts of the BAB rules. |
