Great project, nice use of Battle honours figures.I have painted entire hesse Darmstadt in 28mm myself,I used the old frontier wurttemburgers and putty uped the kepi into a shako for the hessian jaegers, cause the wurttemburgers have the shoulder rolls.I love 1866 |

I've actaully got 150 of the old Helion Austrians and Prussians with separate heads. I'm really tempted to put the Austrians heads on the Prussians for Hanovarians and put kepis on the Austrians for Danes. Then I'd have a load of spare picklehaubes -decisions, decisions
