I just finished painting up all the new Late War Germans from "Gothic Line Miniatures". I really like these figures. The Germans come with separate heads, so you can create many different figures. Here are few pics of the figures.

These include all the different figure poses.

There are two different figures with panzerfausts and you can make more with the different heads.

A nicely sculpted pose.

And this is my favorite figure with a face only a mother could love, but I love the character in it!

They look good. I know it says they are 28mm but how well do they match up with other companies 28mm line?

FireZouave23 Feb 2014 6:29 p.m. PST

They match up with just about anything out there. I'll have to do some side by side comparisons and get back to you. I'll take some pics side by side.

I like the figures, but some of the weapon choices seem odd to me. Why an MG-34 for late war Germans? I'm tempted to pick up some of their minis, but they seem scattershot about the projects they start and finish (or not). Just my subjective opinion of course!

You did an excellent job on painting these though and they make the figures look nicer than the pics on their own site.

Nice figs, but a couple of these guys look like they just made a break from the circus.

FireZouave23 Feb 2014 8:46 p.m. PST

Iron Ivan, they do have a figure with a MG42 also. He's not in these shots. Grossman, I don't know what you mean about the circus, unless you're talking about some of the faces, which I really like? They look different, like real people, as opposed to everyone looking like the same perfect model.

Pizzagrenadier23 Feb 2014 9:11 p.m. PST

Ah, I see the MG-42 on the site. They appear to have gotten some better pictures posted now.

Tempted by the Dutch, though I hope they add more to the range.

GROSSMAN23 Feb 2014 9:33 p.m. PST

I like the faces as well, more character than usual, just some are a little clownish, and I can't stand clowns…

Metal or plastic?

The Gray Ghost24 Feb 2014 4:58 a.m. PST

metal

FireZouave24 Feb 2014 5:06 a.m. PST

Yes, they are all metal and the weapons are nice and thin but still very strong! As far as the faces go, if you don't like some of them, just use a different head. That's the beauty of these figures!

These are also available with fixed heads, really like your painting style FireZouave you make them look like veterans!
