It looks like you've got a Commissar amongst the bunch. Have you tried playing a game or two with one of those Schmucks in your force? I have and it wasn't pleasant. This is not meant as a criticism, at least not of you. I just find that my opponent does enough killing of my troops without one of my own helping.
You have done your usual excellent job on those guys. I really like the look of your bases.

Robby
I've not played using a commisar, but I've heard they can be worse then the enemy for reducing the numbers of your own force! It didn't seem right not having at least one or two knocking about! They add a bit of colour if nothing else. I'm plodding my way through my Russians slowly, I'm going to add my motar team next, and maybe the officers and medic, I need to make a start on my maxim MGs I got in with the tamiya Gaz field car, i'll need to convert the crew from the warlords plastics so it may take a while. Thanks for the comment on the bases, its completely different for me, but they seem to work.

Frederick and Joe Fish, thanks guys all feedback more than welcome

Russ,

Those look great. I really like your painting style. Every color really *pops* compared to the drab colors. That's the same style that I aim for.

Cheers

Thanks Pat, I must admit painting WW2 stuff seems easy with vallejo paints! The colours seem easy to highlight and shade, they water down nicely for washes and they seem to give a good even coverage. Maybe they Just suite my style of painting, either way I'm kind of hoping the results speak for themselves.
So thanks again for the kind words
Cheers Russ
