Hi guys, I'm looking for some 15mm USCT for my Longstreet campaign. 1863 starts soon and I am anticipating having to get some Negro troops. I like the new Blue Moon figs but the vast majority of my troops are Stone Mtn., Heritage, Battlehonours and Freikorps, hence smaller. If Blue Moon had coloured troops I would buy them but they do not. Also most of the BM figures have scraggly beards and lots of hair, so I could not simply paint them with dark flesh. What opinions are there for 15mm USCT? I can't seem to find many other than Peter Pig, which at this point seems the better option. Thoughts? |

The PP black infantry figures are in the correct uniform and will go well with the other 15mm lines as you mention. In 15mm the facial features are not as prominent as the uniform so you might also get away with correctly uniformed coated union? all the best

FWIW my 15mm ACW collection is entirely Peter Pig, although I have no USCT units I regret to say. But they are great poses and sculpts IMHO. |
