I live in Philadelphia, PA. Don't know about Harrisburg, been thru there and there is not much there. Cold Wars is coming up March 7th thru the 9th in Lancaster, PA and you will be able to find anything you want there (if you are going to be in the area). |

I'm sorry but The Gettysburg Miniature Soldiers shop is for tourists, not wargammers. They have an ok selection of 54mm collectors stuff, but their wargamming selection is pretty thin. They also seem to have a heavy surcharge on the wargamming stuff. Also if your looking to "hang" or get a pick up game, that is not the place it's slightly larger than a postage stamp. I was there this last summer. There are several stores like it in Gettysburg, but they all really are focused on selling the 54mm's. |

GR C17, I was there last week. Thier inventory is increasing as is thier store. They have a large selection of Blue Moon ACW and Napoleonics as well as some Crusader stuff and a load of plastics. |

The Adventure Guild is very small and limited to what they carry being some Flames of War and fantasy. Other than that there is a hobby shop on Derry St. called The Hidden Hanger but it is mostly radio control items and of course some paint and glue. As others have stated you would have to go outside the area because Harrisburg doesn't really have much. |

I live in Harrisburg. The Adventurer's Guild is really the only miniature Hobby store in town but it mostly caters to fantasy minis. I stop there occasionally to get some painting supplies. I heard they just recently got a new owner but I have not been by the store since then. The Comic Store West in York has a better selection for historicals. Phil

There is also Pastimes on the Square in Palmyra, about half hour drive from Harrisburg, on the other side of Hershey: pastimesonthesquare.com There's also Tap N Atk Games in New Cumberland but that is almost entire CCG like Magic but with a tiny stock of GW products if you need paint and the like facebook.com/TapNAtkGames Additionally, there is That Game Store in Lemoyne: thatgamestore.com/, mostly board games and RPGs but with some Reaper Bones figures There was an earlier discussion about stores near Hummelstown, which is in the Harrisburg area, here: TMP link |

Comic Store West in York is indeed the Iron Ivan home base. Our game club plays there every Monday night at 5 to close. always something historical, sometimes other stuff for fun. The store itself doesn't have much in the way of historical game stuff for sale: a little FOW, a few Warlord boxes some rules. But they do have paints, terrain, etc. It's about a half hour drive South of Harrisburg. |

Last time I was at Passtimes in Palmyra it looked like it was about to go belly up. Nothing had been restocked in a long time, a mere shadow of it's former glory. |
