I don't know anything about Command Piquet but FOB is excellent. This is useful TMP link |

The consensus seems to be FoB over Command Piquet, or else use pure Piquet in its original form. |

FOB for me all you need in one book and a fun, lively game. |

I have both. My vote is for FoB if you want a streamlined, faster moving game than regular Piquet. Command Piquet is a good start, but doesn't go far enough in my mind to make it a clear choice over either FoB or Piquet. |

I vote FOB2 as well. The 2nd edition is a great upgrade as well. I have played both and feel that Command Piquet is a hybrid of classic Piquet and FOB. |

I have enjoyed both but FOB is certainly faster playing overall. CmdPK has few more morale rolls and suchlike that FOB dispenses with and yet the overall game results are similar |

I still strongly prefer original Piquet, but if I had to choose between CdPK and FOB2, I'd choose the latter. |

FoB2 here too. Command Piquet had some interesting ideas (including horizon movement bounds) but did not develop a great following – if anything, it was probably a stepping stone to FoB. |

I'd vote for FoB2 as well. In case you haven't seen it, my review of FoB2 is here: link Nothing wrong with Command Piquet, it just sort of got lost between the evolution form standard Piquet (which still has a lot to be said for it) and FoB2. |

There seems to be a ground swell
thanks for the advice |
