Looks like we're working on vaguely similar projects. My battlefield in a box (a few posts down from this) has the same kinds of issues. The "foamie" material is a great find. Very cheap, very workable, takes glue quite well, does not warp. The stuff I get is 1/8" thick, very light and works a treat. I made 12 hills in an hour or so, at a cost of $0 USD (I stile the foam from my daughter's craft closet!). |

I read your post with interest. Our hobby shop sells the foam sheets in a wide range of colours. Not sure whether they do a green, I assume they will. I'm sure there are a lot of gamers interested in 'small set-up' projects. I will follow yours with keen interest. |

Norm: I can get three greens and three browns. The greens are very bright but it beats trying to cover neon pink! EC |
