Does anyone have any recommendations for a green flock that's similar to this?
I recently began finishing up some minis from an old project and would like to complete the bases as close to the ones I did before using the Citadel flock. -B6 |

I think Gale Force 9 link may do a similar flock, but I am not sure from the picture on the exact colour or texture of the GW flock, as I have never used it!!! |

I brought some German model train flock that was identical to the GW flock but cannot remember the brand and I have long since disposed of the packaging. I do remember that it was about a half the cost for five times as much flock. |

I bought some Gauge Master model railway flock called spring grass off ebay for about £3.00 GBP looked just like my old GW flock except I got about 3 times as much for about 3 times less money. link |

Kibri is the German RR 'static grass' that's the equivalent to GW's flock at less than a quarter the price, much bigger volumes in a package. Try a good hobby store that carries RR modelling supplies, Kibri or Noch are the brands. Several colors from dark green to a burnt yellow look. Also worth a look is the US brand, although it does not resemble the static grass. |

Noch's spring meadow is probably about the same. |

Woodland Scenics is another model railroad source for static flock. |

Thanks chaps. Perhaps I'll just have to hit the model RR shops and FLGS to see what I can find. -B6 |

I think Woodland Scenics "Earth Blend" will fit that. I use it for all my grassy bases. |
