If you have received one of our Yakusa box sets for the Osprey game 'A Fistful of Kung Fu' in the past couple of weeks, please check your castings.

In packing the latest production run, we found a small number of the figures have gone really odd, the cause is some mould cavities went wrong.

We've removed the bad castings and destroyed the mould now, but we know a number of box sets went out before we discovered the problem.

If you have some of these miscasts, email me at North Star and we'll sort you out with good ones.

Interestingly, no customer has mentioned it yet!

Yours

And now that figure is a rarity….. wink

How do you miss something like this in the first place? Aren't figures checked when they come out of the mold?

Ordered mine from Brigade Games. Not here yet but who do I contact if/when?

NickNorthStar19 Feb 2014 8:21 a.m. PST

Hi Dentatus
Brigade's order was dealt with after the discovery, in fact all orders to shops and distributors were, it was just some mail orders. Plus it's only a small number of figures on one mould, most orders will be fine.

Genius.

I looked mine over upon arrival and didn't notice any obvious problems- but I didn't inspect them very closely because I had four other boxes to drool over. I'll give them a true inspection after I get home from work.

Hi Dr
It's the three young thugs from the Yakusa box, you don't need to look further than them.
Cheers

Mine look just fine as far as I can tell.

Thanks Nick.

One of mine, the one with the cigar, looks like he has warts all over his back. Was this one of the issues?

NickNorthStar20 Feb 2014 7:53 a.m. PST

Hi Raynman
That's exactly it. If you email your address to us at mailorder@northstarfigures.com

we'll sort out a good casting for you.

Hi Dr.
You'll be in the majority, it was only 4-5 cavities on one mould where the weirdness occurred.

Nick
