Are there many published accounts of specific samurai/ronin/sword duels out there? The only one I could find was this one between a ronin and three drunk samurai: link If you're familiar with the Bob Boze Bell "Classic Gunfights" series, I'm looking for a similar format. (Bell's books give details on specific gunfights, their participants, backgrounds etc.) |

If you read "Musashi" its a fictional account full of numerous duels. Although its fictional, all of the duels are taken from Musashi's own account of the combats. A really good read. |

I guess I should have mentioned I already read Musashi (LOVED it!) But it was Musashi partially that had me wondering about other duels. Edit: In fact, Amazon has a reminder telling me that I bought this book exactly one year ago tomorrow :) |
