Hello, I know of the 1st Corps. 28mm Minerva armored car, and I have heard that there is another manufacturer that produces one also- but I can't find out who. Does anyone know of any Minerva AC besides 1st Corps (which I like) and where to get them? I'd like to see all the options before I order some. Thanks! |

No one else that I'm aware of. I have photos of an unbuilt 1st Corp Minerva showing all parts if this helps: link |

I think Reviesco do/did one. BTW (with regards to the photograph) I think the Minerva was only used in 1914, well before the Belgian Army adopted the Adrian helmet. |

Indeed, I noticed the helmet and have been trying to decide what to replace them with. I have some early war Brigade Models Belgians that I'll use for headswaps I guess. I went ahead and ordered the 1st Corps- thanks for the replies fellows. |

Check out 28mm SCW manufacturers. Somebody does a separate sprue of heads wearing the for-and-aft forage cap that's very similar to the one that a number of the Minerva crew are seen wearing in the 1914 photographs. |

A quick Google of "Minerva armoured car" will show a few crew members wearing Adrian helmets. Of course it is hard to tell what year the photo is from. Here are some pictures from Rena Rosselt's Minerva-Morse, serving on the Eastern Front in 1917: link |

I have checked the relevant volume of La Belgique et la Grande Guerre, which is a wonderful resource on the Belgian military involvement in the war (volume IV in particular). There were several examples of pursuit operations during the final weeks of the war. Belgian cavalry and cyclists were involved but there is no mention of armoured cars at all. Robert |

Bowman, some of the photos of 'Minerva' armoured cars are actually French late war photos. They show French auto-mitrailluese in action during the German Spring offensives, hence the Adrian helmets. Robert |
