I am looking for a UK supplier of thin steel sheets. My 6mm figures are based on casrdstock and I am planning to put a thin adhesive magnetic sheet on each base which would then be attracted to the steel sheet. This would allow variations of bases, depending on the rule set being used at the time. Alan |

Hi Alan – you might consider my products as well
tinytintroops.co.uk We do flexible magnetic sheets and flexible soft iron sheets – both self-adhesive. Tony of TTT |

Probably too late, since you've already got them based on card, but you might consider using the thin sheet metal for the bases, then the flexi-magnet stock (refrigerator magnet type of stuff) for your movement trays. I like a thin base, especially with 6mm figs and vehicles, and this method avoids layering up a plinth under them. Doug |

Precision Wargames Supplies (PWS). Ian at PWS has made hundred and hundreds of bases for me over the years, some from stock sizes but mostly custom orders. Even the tiny bases I use for 18mm figures are cut extremely precisely. Magnetic Displays, as noted above, sell PWS bases. |
