I had opportunity to play in Mr. Dennis Wang's server based web-enabled app for playing the venerable Avalon Hill game AIR FORCE/DAUNTLESS at the NOVAG Game Day on Saturday.

Essentially Mr. Wang has hard coded a lot of the AIR FORCE game's airplane cards to keep track of all the complex stuff associated with air combat. I really enjoyed this game a lot and hope he expands the concept with more plane cards, etc.

Thanks for your time,

Hi Walt, I was the other Hellcat pilot in the scenario, thanks for a great write-up (both the scenario and the program implementation).

Although I got a couple good shots off on two Vals, it wasn't enough to take them down. Fun scenario, though, and great documentation of the battle at your blog.

I am envious you can bring your son to play. The closest I got with my daughters to miniature gaming was "Pirates of the Spanish Main" with the cardstock ships.
