Here are some photos of the terrain board I completed today for a game next weekend. The game will feature two reduced Canadian 1st Parachute Battalion platoons defending a probing attack by a company of the German 857th Grenadier Regiment on the morning of 8 June'44 northwest of the Le Mesnil Crossroads.

Very nice. Excellent job disguising the hexes and creating straight hedgerows.

Well done.

Looking good! Maybe you can use this terrain for future scenarios too.

Thanks Jeigheff, I hope to be able to use the terrain in various new configurations for other scenarios. I've tried to design it so it aligns properly in different set-ups.

What did you use for the basis of the hex terrain?, is it Kallistra ?

wargamer623 Nov 2014 4:10 a.m. PST

I Like the terrain , it looks a lot like Normandy and has the added benifit of being mounted on hexes as well , great job.

What is the border you use to hold it all tight, I'm looking for a similar idea for my terrain boards.
