It looks very cool and the figs are well painted and in dynamic poses. Did this unit actually carry colors into combat?

To be honest I'm not a hundred percent sure, but my understanding is the marines in North America when conducting skirmishes or acting on patrols and guarding key points they did not use a standard, but did use one in the few formal open battle engagements they took part in Montcalm's army.
Anyhow, I included one as it gives a dramatic effect and the flag is nice.:-) Christopher |

I think there were 2 battalions of Compagnies Franches de la Marine were with Montcalm's army at Quebec, the 1st with colours and the 2nd without. Nicely done. |

I wouldn't include a standard but it always looks nice doesn't it. I'm hearing ya, as unusual as it is they are damn nice to have on the table. You just can't resist having them sometimes and it sets off a beautiful paint job nicely regards
