Could the two wooden house mouldings from Amera (F222 & F223) be used for Chinese/Japanese dwellings? link I'm new to this particular area of gaming, so not totally au fait with the exact details of it's architecture, so forgive me if I'm barking up the wrong tree. As far as I can tell, they could pass for Chinese/Japanese buildings, with the removal of the chimney and a little bit of tarting up. Cheaper alternative to 4Grounds stuff, as they're only £3.50 GBP each. Opinions? |

I've always wondered, just how sturdy are the amera stuff, it always looks like thin plastic that would be easily crushed |

How about their rivers? My current river system isn't one I can easily use for a lot of things now
mainly because I'd built the edges up a bit for a cobblestone thing and I can't really find anywhere that produces the water mats for holiday villages to chop up again. |

A number of Japanese companies make paper and plastic N scale model railroad buildings. Japanese N scale is 1/150, which is a good match for 10mm scale, and it can also be used in a pinch with 15mm figures (1:108, technically). |

"Decors miniatures" (Nicolo) I have the NW(whatever) series diecut balsa plywood buildings, pretty much one of everything. The Tibetan buildings are all a bit small for 28mm, and they're really "box scale" (ie, whatever size fits in the box). I think they'd work for 15mm, they MIGHT work for 20mm. But not for 28mm. The Chinese buildings are also pretty variable in scale. That big MW100 noble's villa is close enough to 28mm. A couple of the other buildings ( link and link ) are too small for 28mm. |
