In response to the many frequent requests, I have started an article, that gives some insights as to how I paint my 30 mm flat miniatures. If you are interested, feel free to visit my Blog.

Cheers,

You are an artist.

Stunning work and collection. Every time I see flats I prefer them visually to the modern chunky figures, especially when I see them done as well as this.

Hmm, that's interesting. I nearly bought some of that Pelikan Plaka paint not so long ago when looking for a dead flat black. It's made from Milk proteins. It obviously does a nice job as a primer.

Lovely work.

Breathtaking! Your blog make me eager to paint my old flats, buyed in 1992 and never painted……

Hi Christian,

Your figures are truly beautiful. I looked through your blog and noticed that your miniature regiments seem to be organized very consistently. Do you have a set of rules that you favor?

Go for it Altefritz. Thats all I can say. Its not so difficult.

@ Jeigheff,
Yep, my figures are all based for playing with Volley&Bayonet rules.
