I have been building the terrain and forces needed for this scenario and am just about finished. I was wondering if anyone has pulled this scenario together and has any advice regarding how well the scenario played, It was designed before RF2 came out, so did you make changes to the scenario?

sausagesca,
I used the Rapid Fire Omaha Beach scenario book as the initial basis for my Omaha beach game. I focused on the Western half but used my own rules and used a more historically accurate OB for the US. Also gave them a greater challenge of having to make it to the beach, sometimes 50% of the landing craft don't make it. The extra turns to get to the beach means I have to add 5 turns to the game. But I have yet to get past 17 turns as the Americans are usually burnt out after 6 hours of trying to crawl off the beach. My version seems to be more of a historical simulation and less so a fun game unless you enjoy challenges. TMP link
