On BBC iplayer at the moment, an excellent short film (13 minutes). Brought a tear or 2 to my eyes. "Drama inspired by a true story, piecing together the past of a 100-year-old psychiatric patient. Nobody knows anything about him apart from his date of birth and name, Billy Dunne. Billy has lived in the hospital for his entire adult life. He never talks, but spends all of his time sketching. It is only when he is befriended by a nurse that the meaning of Billy's sketches and past is revealed." link IMDB link |
