Based on the thumb in the picture, 2 inches (flat to flat). Give or take a little. |

I saw a brief review that said each hex is "about two inches across". The reviewer did not state whether this was flat-to-flat or corner-to-corner. Good estimate Stryderg! |

Excellent. Well I guess that, if bought solely for the hexes, each 2-inch wide interlocking hex come out to be about 50 cents. Dan |

Great for some kind of futuristic gladiatorial game – especially if you got a couple of boxes and did it multi-level. Dark Eldar wyche combat etc etc. |

how much for a 6x4 table ? |

If you covered the hexes with self-adhesive shiny plastic book-covering film, you could mark them with tac symbols using a dry-wipe marker pen and create a wall-mounted map-game with a built-in clock to record the turn number/game-time (if you remove the battery)
Perhaps if enough of us contacted IKEA HQ to suggest they sell boxes of hexes and links without the clock – we could suggest it's so that customers can make more elaborate hex designs around their existing clocks, or create their own hex-pattern wall decorations, to avoid mentioning wargaming – they might just make them available? |

@lanrs54 a 6 x 4 table would need 31 clocks or 464.69 $ |

Unless you have a drop cloth with 2 inch hexes printed on it, and simply use the hexes for elevations. Dan |

It is where modelers put up free for the most part 3d models. That one is for hexes that match your clock. |
