Thanks so much! There was some discussion on LAF, but haven't heard anything recently. Also, I thought they were available from someone in the US, though it sounded like that might be a wait. Doug |

Alas, overly large and not-to-scale with each other. Even worse, the Enterprise A (movie era) appears to be larger than the Excelsior class ship (Enterprise B). So not only completely out-of-scale, but not even an attempt to remotely acknowledge basic differences in relative size. (And that's without even mentioning the Klingon Bird of Prey, or even worse the huge Enterprise NX-01!!!!) For a collector's shelf, that's fine. For a war gamer, not so much. Thanks for the write-up, but even if I played one-on-one ship duels (the only size this really works for), I'd still pass due to the gross scale problems. |

I think their aim is to make all the ships somewhat near the same size, so you feel you're getting your moneys worth per model. With that being the case the scale issue isn't such a big deal to me. To make them all in perfect scale to each other would likely force them to price them differently too, and for a monthly pricing format that should be somewhat uniform
I think that would be an issue. I also still think they'd be fun to use some generic space rules to play them in a space game setting, even with the scale issues. |

Hey Doug. Technically you get them shipped from their US warehouse. It's just the billing that seems to occur from abroad. Most comic book shops carry all the other Eaglemoss stuff, so maybe in time they'll pick up the Star Trek ships too, but when I asked locally most didn't even know they existed which was odd. |

Wait
.. I just tried to subscribe to the ww2 one and it seemed only for the UK. What in the US can I get these? |
TheBeast | 11 Feb 2014 4:24 p.m. PST |
Ted, Page with ST link Has a link for us colonials near the bottom, 'USA customers, please click here.' link Not sure if they did this with any other offers
I'm not up to a full subscription, but as I've micromachines, Gamescience, TFG, WizKids, Konami, Polar Lights, and AMT-Ertl, I figure I could've used some to fill some 'in scale' itch. Doug Edit: Course, I left out Johnny Lightning and Hot Wheels and

WargameGuru, do you happen to know the dimensions of the reliant? Is it in scale with the enterprise-A ? |
WarGameGuru | 12 Feb 2014 4:16 a.m. PST |
I believe Reliant is one of the next ones I'm to receive, but didn't get that one in the mail yet. I just got charged again which means 2-3 weeks I'll get my next shipment. I'll let you know when I find out. Thanks |

Same with the Star wars mini space game, no scale makes them nice for shelf, not so much for gaming. If the small ones were an issue put 2 in a pack. If the large companies ever figure out to make toys in gaming scales, to get more sales, or at least to remove inventory at end of life, but that will take someone thinking. |
