The post count. Back when it was "accurate" (was it ever?), I was apparently Ye Toppe Poster. When the stats first came out, I was actually startled, but came to enjoy the notoriety. Unfortunately, some es and ignoramusses (ignorami?) used this to attack me, saying I was only posting to jack up my post count. However, ever since the bottom fell out on the accuracy, I have not heard that. It silenced those annoying twerps! So, while it would be nice for it to be accurate, meh
Now, I DO think the stifle count is important, mainly because it annoys the easily annoyed. It does make the ratio's accuracy problematic, but if that annoys the same people, it's all for the good. |

Ah, now I remember. "Male donkey" gets bleeped? Humph. |

I actually miss the post count. It was actually in a reasonable range as opposed to this consstant up and down by an incredible amount throughout the day. |

Now, I DO think the stifle count is important, mainly because it annoys the easily annoyed Now I have to agree with you on that. In fact, I am in total agreement. It could well be "The least important thing to fix on TMP". Get rid of the Stifle Table though, eh? How annoyed must an easily annoyed person get!! It's just annoying. DISCLAIMER: This stifle thread was brought to you today by John the OFM and NOT heyjoe. |

Neither count is important. Something truly more useful would be more robust search capability. |

I have to agree. There are far more important things to fix. |

I got an 8 day dog house for circumventing the profanity filter, by using a word that is considered everyday casual in New Zealand, Australia and the UK and is at least here in NZ is used on TV by our Prime Minister. |

My, my. Looks like someone is a total tool. And a cowardly total tool at that. |

The least important thing to fix is "Tango01". |

Least important thing? How it looks. I quite fond of the quaint mid 90s corporate blue vibe, it reminds me of Visual Basic. I am sure PhpBB can be configured to use a similar colour template. I rather like things like transaction statistics to be accurate, it seems such a trivial thing to get right. If a computer system can't do basic arithmetic, then what else is wrong with it? |
