In one of those moments of boredom tried had a go at doing a hex pattern sheet. Would anyone be interested in these? Hexes are 44-45mm across the points/39mm across flats.

It might be worth posting this on a few of the main Battletech sites such as LOTB and BTU, some gamers still prefer to use a hex grid playing surfaces. |

Your a bit large for battletech but I suspect you were going for decorative other then game play. Battletech bases are 1.25" but a hex pattern for gaming would be more like 1.5" I think that is the size that the printed maps use. |

Could be a nice replacement to those GHQ scenery tiles if they were all split up individually. |

could do them cut out as individual, the price would be higher than sheet as involve a fair amount of cutting. Easy enough to resize hex pattern for b-tech/other games use. |

These might be good for folks porting Command & Colours to the tabletop. |

How about 4" hexes for Ogre miniatures games? |

Reference the orge game, is that 4" across flats or across points? No wonder that orge box was so darn big at cavalier books!! |

Would be great for both Gladiator games and Aeronef/Sky Galleon games (they tend to use hexes) |

MMG, the Ogre maps utilize 1.5" hexes. I suspect the 4' query takes into account the massive size of the actual Ogre miniatures (the cybertanks, not the line as a whole). Another good measurement might be the 1.75" (44mm) format that Heroscape uses/used. Many people, including myself, use that for terrain for other gaming needs. |
