What an utterly rubbish site. I don't think I have read so much ahistorical falsehood and disinformation in so short a time.

While it certainly has a bias (putting it mildly), I still find it interesting and possibly useful.

It is unfortunately true that recruiters in the UK did turn a blind eye towards underage VOLUNTEERS in the beginning, as I'm sure did all the combatant nations. The practice was stopped and an attempt was made to remove them from the front lines prior to the Somme battle.

I'd rather the photos were presented with the original captions and information as to when and were they came from.

OK, many of the images do have sources of some sort, but in different sections of the site.

So on top of being biased, it's not really well put together. Also appears that English is the creators second language. No criticism in that, but explains a few odd word choices.

Sorry - only verified members can post on the forums.
